Zenyatta one to beat at Milady

Four starts into her career, 4-year-old Zenyatta will be heavily favored to make it 5 for 5 when she runs 1 1/16 miles in the Grade 2 Milady Handicap for fillies and mares Saturday at Hollywood Park.

Zenyatta was making only her fourth start when she won the Apple Blossom with a 104 Beyer Speed Figure. And she beat a good field - the second- through fifth-place finishers returned to win their next start, including two graded stakes.

Zenyatta debuted last November at Hollywood and captured her first three efforts over Cushion Track in California, including an easy score in the El Encino Stakes two starts back at Santa Anita. She made a seamless transition to dirt at Oaklawn Park in the Apple Blossom, blowing past champion Ginger Punch with a powerful rally from off the pace,

Mike Smith will retain the mount on the John Shirreffs runner.
